It works on Unit! github.com/itstimetoflow/dialogsys_unity_plugin
DialogSys is a new tool that will help you build dialogues for your games in a more practical and fluid way. Using the power of web technologies, such as html, css and javascript, we built an agile and intuitive interface, all for you to focus on what is important: your creativity.
Javascript
DialogSys uses the main syntax of the Javascript language to operationalize the logic of behavior of the dialogs in the different situations that your game requires. It's simple, easy and straightforward.
Who is talking?
You can see clearly who is talking in a conversation, like a phone message app, with pics and charm chat ballons.
Nested Nodes
DialogSys uses a system of nested nodes to organize the dialog structures, giving depth but also keeping the work layout concise and objective. With a click, you access a complex dialog structure, being able to easily edit and move your nodes.
Actors
Characters and stuff are called Entities and you can give them properties using Datasets. It's visually accessble and easy to edit.
Test, test and test
What's going on with those variables? DialogSys uses the elegant web techlonogy based Jason Editor to show what is happening with those vars while you debugging your dialogues.
Try it yourself now!
DialogSys is in its early alphas, so take a look and start enjoying its advantages!
Which engine can I use this?
For now, DialogSys is only available for Unity (version 2018.4.23f1 and above). We have plans to implement it to other platforms as well. The Unity available plugin is written in C#, so it can be used on engines that supports that language, making right adaptations. And about other languages? The plugin core is also written in C#. If there is enough demand, we can adapt it to a more accessible language, such as C, and the other codes can be converted to the target language.
